Headcanon: I have a head canon involving the Master being in politics before he became a super villain. Then his political rivals ruined his career sometime into his last regeneration. They used a lot of dirty tricks including a Pythnian heritage on his mother’s side and his Newblood background in general. I don’t see his self-confidence ever recovering and that’s why he’s so obsessed with the Doctor’s approval.

Someone went: Of one thing I can be sure: No one will draw Delgado!Master/Lucy but me!
And I went: HAH! I’ll show them!
And so I drew this. Mostly because I love Lucy, and every variation of the Master. And I’d never drawn Delgado!Master before, which was a terrible shame that needed to be rectified.
