Just thought I’d illustrate how really frikkin huge I work on art. This is 100%. The full painting is 5400x7200px, which becomes a nice and lovely 18x24in or 46x61cm when printed.

And then when I realised I SO wouldn’t finish that drawing today, I decided to draw something else that I might actually finish today.
Halp.
This composition is kicking my ass. Does this look balanced? Which one looks best? There will definitely be more details on Loki than in the background (though lot of it will be in darkness, so not overly eyecatching). What can I do with the background? Raarrr.
Without, you know, drawing a full, actual background. I can draw basic, shapey, blurred out backgrounds, but nothing detailed or complex. Maybe I should just do like… rocks and stars. That could work. But again. Composition? Balanced? Yes, no?
Oh, and I won’t redraw parts of Loki. I’m pleased enough with his pose. The staff can change position/angle though.
And a friend (who hasn’t seen it) just commented it looks like a weird hard-on, so that’s awkward.
I’ve FINALLY had time to compile the lists of participants and assign them numbers and stuff. I’m gonna continue to be busy until this summer, so progress on prize sketches is going to be slow, just so you’re all warned, but then I am doing this just for fun, so.
Anyway, yes, tomorrow (at around 2pm CET - so in like just under 20 hours) I will draw winners, if anyone wants to hang around and be all excited or something. Check livestream.com/harbekart when the time comes. I’ll post a reminder.
Profile thingy. Even though I haven’t dyed my hair yet, I’m doing it tomorrow. So here’s an alternate version with my current red hair.
