I have this problem where if I stay up too late I start to analyze musicals too much.
80s’ musical theatre.
I was like aw man, this post needs more Chess, and then I noticed the bottom left is Chess and felt better.
And then I considered that it’s the Broadway production of Chess and felt a little bad for those people walking out of that theater.
I still feel like Broadway Chess is better than no Chess.
I was gonna come with trivia about what now occupies these theatres, but it’s a mix of Broadway and London ones, and the last one isn’t even a picture of a theatre.
Although I think it’s really funny that the original theatre of Jesus Christ Superstar is now no longer a theatre, but the Times Square Church.
Finally figured out how to pull up your entire library in Spotify. I skipped a few when it gave me different chapters or tracks from the same thing, but none because they were embarrassing. …Because there weren’t any embarrassing ones. Unless you count Placebo as embarrassing, just because I generally don’t listen to it.

NPH was such a great Mark, because he was never afraid to shake up the performance a little, add little riffs and fun things, and he pulled it off so well.
Plus, he swam on the table during La Vie Boheme. I have a gif of that somewhere. (And the actual DVD, even if it’s crappy.)
