Funny story…
And by funny I mean tragic.
In 2007, my friend Mina and I were in London, and we wanted to go see Othello with Ewan McGregor. And then we found out that we’d have to stay in line from 1 am and all night, to be able to get tickets. And we did not have the energy, so we decided, okay, maybe we’ll see Ewan some other time.
A few years later, I look over that cast again, and I noticed Chiwetel Ejiofor was there. And I was like HOLY FUCK. He was awesome in Serenity! Aww maaan! I should’ve gone!
Fast-forward to current day. I’m alerted to Ewan McGregor and Tom Hiddleston tweeting at each other. And then a picture of them together. In Othello.

Thoughts on the Doctors
I was asked about my thoughts on the different Doctors. I should mention right away that the only Doctors I feel like I have any proper basis to judge on is Five, and Eight through Eleven. But I’m gonna write a little bit about everyone.
My friend Simon drew a portrait of me for my birthday. It is pretty damn awesome. And accurate.
Loki breaks my heart. He’s a bit batshit, sure, but I don’t think he would’ve invaded in quite this way if he had a choice, or endangered the rest of the universe. But lost in the middle of space, with no power, alone… What other options did he have than to accept help from someone with those conditions?
And he can’t just change his mind, either. You can tell several times that he’s tempted to accept Thor’s help. To come home. But he knows that even the Asgardians probably can’t protect him - and why would they want to? He has no place there anymore, or at least that’s how he feels.
But if he gets Earth, if he succeeds, maybe then he can prove himself. No takeover is without bloodshed, but afterwards he can show that he’ll be a good king, like he would’ve been for Asgard. And maybe being respected will also gain him some self-respect. Maybe he’ll finally be valued.

The best one out there. The only problem is it’s a bit dark and it crops off a bit too much at the top, compared to the other ones, but it’s sharp and the colours are good, and the angle seems better than on the other ones.
It’s the video from the Russian dub, with the audio from one of the English ones. This one is also .mkv, so it’s half the filesize of the Russian video, with no quality loss.
