The Eighth Doctor and his companion Charley. I am dying for their long-awaited reunion in the 50th anniversary audio.
Drew Lucy and Zagreus, just to draw something. It’s been a month since my last drawing, which is pitiful, but I’ve been blocked and struggling to beat it.
And if you’re wondering why the hell Lucy and Zagreus are hanging out, here.
So Charley, quite possibly my favourite companion, first travels with Eight. But then drama happens, and he thinks she’s left him. So she tries to get hold of him, but it’s Six who recieves the message, so she ends up traveling with him instead. It’s really depressing for Eight, but really adorable with Six and Charley. And I love mixed emotions. So I quickly sketched up this.

Depicted are Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann), Dorium Maldovar’s head (Simon Fisher), Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy), Tegan Jovanka (Janet Fielding), Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison), and Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker), as well as a Dalek representing Nicholas Briggs. I got to meet all of them, and it was wonderful.

It’s been such a long journey for both of us. I never ever wanted it to end. But end it has, we both know that. A long time ago now, I said you were the oddest man I’d ever met. You’re that still. You’re the best man I’ve ever met, too.
But we’ve chanced our luck once too often, I think, so I’m bailing out. Escape strategy number five. I’m going to disappear. There’s no freedom like being dead. I can go anywhere, be anyone I want. Just like a Time Lord, really.

The new episode made me think of other companions who said goodbye to the Doctor by letter.
