Crops of my thesis images. I will post the full ones after my thesis defense. Basically representations of my emotions when confronted by these different states of being, and trying to reason with not being as emotionally expressive as my friends and family—especially when it comes to death.

All I did this hour was draw. I had no time for anything else. But I started getting bored of my music, so I put on the Doctor Who Big Finish audio drama ‘Colditz’, from 2001, starring David Tennant as a young and very angry Nazi officer with a strong German accent. Which gave me a great excuse to draw David Tennant, which is never wrong.

Granted, I didn’t have it in me to actually finish listening to it today, but I kept cackling and fangirling too much at it to actually manage to focus on drawing at the same time. I also have no idea what rank his character was, so forgive costume inaccuracies.

Dad brings me a bacon&cheese hamburger for dinner. There’s a local junkfood place that makes the most delicious burgers I’ve ever tasted. It’s been a while since the last one. I am pleased. It is delicious. Then I go back to drawing, because apparently I won’t get anything else done today. At least until someone gets online and distracts me.

At this point I discover both my room and my computer has gotten rather warm, so I go to open the balcony door. It’s already completely dark outside, because this is Norway and we get barely any sunlight during winter.

I put on a hoodie and post my first hourly comic to tumblr. Then I go back to drawing. My daily life is very exciting.

Having decided I should an hourly comic, I went and got a can of coke from the fridge, I put on my Lucy Saxon playlist (which is clickable if you want to read what music is on there), and I started drawing.

With really terrible posture, because I draw with a huge tablet and laptop, in bed, and I’m a bit nearsighted. It’s not the ideal work station, but I don’t have a desk and I can’t afford to buy extra screens.

Arq was talking about making a Chess sequel called “Chess II: The American’s Revenge” because of the concept album’s synopsis mentioning that Freddie “plans his revenge on both Florence and the Russian.”

And then I suggested Chess II as a spy thriller, with Molokov and Walter as the leads and the rest as supporting, everyone becoming drawn into this world of lies and murder and politics (and probably still a little bit chess). And dug up some old fanart of mine of the two of them. Not sure if it’s Freddie’s revenge or Walter’s. Could be both, I suppose, but then it would be Americans’. Anyway.

PS I encourage fanfiction or plotting of this.
